Job Description

East Delta University (EDU) is seeking passionate and results-driven professionals for the position of Executive: Admissions, Outreach and Engagement under the Office of the Registrar. This position plays a key role in driving student admissions, strengthening community and institutional partnerships, and promoting EDU’s academic programs to prospective students and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive approach to outreach, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and target-oriented environment.


Educational Requirements

  • Master's degree in any discipline


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.


Additional Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills

  • Have excellent command on both oral and written English and Bengali communication skills

  • IELTS 7 and above (preferred)

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office is an unavoidable requirement

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring the proper and smooth functioning of the works of the Admissions and Counselling desk.
  • Providing prospective students and their guardians with all kinds of details related to admission to make sure that their admission process is smooth and hassle-free.
  • Helping and guiding prospective students in filling up the admission form and ensuring that the students submit all the required documents along with the admission form for a fair admission process.
  • Providing counseling to the existing students and their guardians on a case-by-case basis.
  • Handling the grievances of students and guardians by receiving and processing written applications addressed to the concerned authority.
  • Providing necessary information and responses to callers or inquiries.
  • Maintaining and updating the database.
  • Coordinating and/or performing data management activities in the software and ensuring that the data are kept up to date.
  • Preparing and circulating notices regarding events that need student attention and upon approval from the Registrar/supervisor.
  • Performing the audit on individual student files and ensuring that all the required documents are present in the files.
  • Providing support to the Office of the Registrar.
  • Encourage and guide students to organize and take part in various co-curricular activities.
  • Helping Registrar/Managers/department heads to complete daily tasks.
  • Ensuring operations adhere to policies and regulations & standard work environment.
  • Managing all types of departmental schedules and deadlines.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the management.
